This is all a hypersigil.

It's said that a hypersigil is an extended work of art with magical meaning and willpower.

There are no rules for the sigil. It is up to the magician to fill in the blanks for the purpose. I also invite all of you to be magicians and make this all what you want it to be.

This is all an attempt to change your world. Change my world. Make things better all around.

Even if only the reader, the writer and the photographer (or if they are all the same person) receive the message, the sigil has achieved it's aim.

Magic exists to make us smile and realize the world is more than desks and work.

Go out today, reader, and do something magic for me. But most importantly, for yourself.

After I watched Babe, I couldn't eat bacon for years.

It's a good thing I don't own that movie on DVD.

I am eating something I named.

I am consuming my art.

Can you say the same?

I think we should take stock and celebrate good days.

Even moments.

Saturday I was blasting Sleater-Kinney. Instead of being sad they are broken up, I grabbed my air guitar, threw my foot up on the couch like it was a Marshall and went batshit.

Hair flying all around, I know every word and note. I am playing with them and for some reason, the girls don't mind this fat kid up there rocking the fuck out with them. They enjoyed it.

In my crazy head, they screamed and yelled, "Rock, Sam. Rock.:

I did.

Warning - there are bad Yuenglings around.

It is America's oldest brewery.

Maybe they are old bottles.

Did you know that over 150 people have already been buried in space?

Only 4 people live in Centralia, Pennsylvania.

That's because the town has been on fire since 1962.

I made a new friend. She comes around when it's dark and sits on my lap. She's awfully loud and silly. I gave her her own bed outside.

I have a new hero. Her name was Strelka, which means Little Arrow in Russian. She was one of the first two living creatures in space, along with her partner Belka. On August 19, 1960, she rode Sputnik-5 for a day in space.

Her mate, Pushok, never made it into space. They did have six puppies, though, and one of them, Pushinka, or Fluffy, was given to Caroline Kennedy by Nikita Khrushchev. Pushinka had to go through security to see if she was a spy dog or not. A Cold War romance occurred between the Russian puppy born of space explorers and a Kennedy dog named Charlie, producing four puppies.

Strelka is stuffed today and travels the world. She saw more and did more as a dog than most people. Today I read her story and it made me cry. Cry because she saw space and had to come back to Earth, but did more, for a time, than man did. Her puppiy, taken away, off to a foreign land, the land of the enemy she battle against in the space race. It seemed like a hard life for a dog. I would have loved to have petted her and told her she was a good dog.

* CHICKEN WEEK * Day Seven - Goodbye chicken week

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Goodbye and thank you.

You made us smile.

The idea that a week could be all about chicken, for no reason at all other than we say it is, brings smiles.

Chicken was consumed. And loved.

Until the first week of October next year, good bye Chicken Week.

* CHICKEN WEEK * Day Seven - Eggs

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So many ideas for next week.

Theme weeks are fun, though.

Eggs of ideas.

I ate more chicken this week than normal

I had popcorn chicken tonight. I don't know why they call it that. It is not made with popcorn.

Let's look it up on Wikipedia.

"Small morsels of boneless chicken, battered and fried, resulting in little nuggets that resemble popcorn."

I guess. It just looks like little chicken to me.

I should have taken a picture of the popcorn chicken. But I was hungry.

You would have done the same.

* CHICKEN WEEK * Day Seven - Ig Nobel Chicken

The 17th Ig Nobel Awards were given out this week. Each winner is belted by paper airplanes, The trophies had an egg and a chicken on them. When asked why, they said "How could you not?"

Awards were given for:

A report on sweord swallowing and the effects
Research on whether rats can discriminate between Japanese and Dutch spoken backwards

Past winners have been:
The creator of the pink plastic flamingo
The first reported case of homosexual necrophilia among mallard ducks (this behavior does not happen in chickens)

An eight year old girl sat on stage. If an acceptance speech went longer than one minute, she would say "Stop. I'm bored."

* CHICKEN WEEK * Day Six - A Lack of Trust

I do not trust gas station salads.

Yes, I am not a perfect man.

I just fear that they may have been out too long and the chicken has become zombified.

* CHICKEN WEEK * Day Five - The World's Best

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

There was a giant battle.

Many roasted chicken roasters came.

Two roasters enter. One roaster leaves.

Roasterdome.

We don't need another chicken.

Roasterdome.

* CHICKEN WEEK * Day Five - Chicken Week Keeps On Clucking

My cholesterol is high now, so my blood test says. It doesn't matter, I will eat this entire basket of fried chicken. This whole silver gleaming ode to greatness, to fried chicken, to ripping off the breading and being like, ahh, ahhh, fried chicken, yes, feed me the fried chicken.

Ravenous hunger for things that will clog my heart!

I mean, sir, you are a genius.
