When I was a teen, my mom showed me how to make Ukranian eggs.
You have to melt wax with a stylus and then slowly drip and fill it into your pattern on the egg. You dye the egg colors and then slowly the pattern becomes real. It's hard, because you are in constant danger of breaking the egg.
