Harley Warrick painted 20,000 barns in his life for Mail Pouch Tobacco. The tobacco company could pay barn owners $2 a year for the ad, which may not seem like much, but the much needed paint jobs preserved the wood of their barns. He would paint two sides of the barn with the company name and the other two sides any color the barn owner wished. If you look at the blue border, near the roof, you can see his initials. When he retired in 1992, Mail Pouch barns ended. You can hardly find any of them these days. I don't enjoy chewing and I know N views it as a dealbreaker, but I think that these barns are awesome.
